Sterling Hudgins, owner of M&M Building Supply and wife, Kathryn Tatterson of Tatterson's Greenhouse, both of Port Haywood in Mathews County, Virginia, are familiar with high demand, quick supply, and deep inventory as a part of a growing community. While Henley's struggled to regain ground from an impromptu expansion to West Point as the economy tumbled, more customers were being forced to go elsewhere; either from not being able to wait for essential products, or not having all the parts needed for their project at hand.  Sterling's ambitious idea came as a surprise to Jay and Joan Henley, and was found to be the best solution for all our customers' needs.

  As the transition begins, we have already expanded to a complete lumber selection and restocked several items that were often cost-prohibitive while operating in a recession.  Expansion to the lumberyard itself will begin with Framer Series or #1 framing lumber, heavy-treatment pilings and stringers, various PVC board, engineered lumber, composite decking, and all the fixings!

  Expansion to our garden center will soon begin with a full array and bountiful supply of fall plants including the gorgeous locally grown mums and pansies that Tatterson's is famous for. Our fall harvest, Halloween, and Christmas decorations will make us your one-stop-shop for all your seasonal desires! Stephanie Henley, our garden manager and resident certified landscape designer, is already beginning to change the storefront to get ready for a gardener's extravaganza!

  Henley's kitchen and bath design team will continue with renewed vitality! Offering more great choices with the same great team that got our name out there as the local leader in quality cabinets & designs!
